Geodesic Energy

Geodesic Energy LLC is a commodity trading hedge fund specializing in U.S. electricity markets (ERCOT, CAISO, MISO, SPP, PJM, ISO-NE). We're based in Puerto Rico and operate fully remote. Our traders and analysts may be located in other parts of the world.

Our technology team is small (5 members) but has a broad scope. We:

• Maintain the infrastructure (servers, databases, accounts, monitoring) that powers the firm.
• Collect, structure, and process massive amounts of market data through custom ETLs.
• Build internal tools to support traders and analysts --- from dashboards to quant strategies, and machine learning models.
• Support day-to-day trading operations by validating trades, monitoring systems, and automating workflows.

Geodesic Energy is an Act 20 company, and we extend the benefits to our employees. This requires that our employees are bona fide residents of Puerto Rico. We also allow our employees to invest in our fund, which provides a wealth creating opportunity uncorrelated to the conventional market such as equities or bonds.
