Job Responsibilities
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare detailed budgets and financial forecasts, offering management insights to guide decision-making. Provide monthly and annual financial reports to compare actuals against forecasts and identify key trends.
- Cost Accounting: Support cost accounting activities by reviewing product manufacturing variances and performing end-of-month and end-of-quarter closing activities. Communicate findings to management and highlight areas of opportunity and/or concern.
- Financial Reporting: Generate and distribute reports on financial performance to local and regional management teams. Assist in developing financial impact analysis for strategic initiatives and long-term planning.
- Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (including SOX). Prepare documentation and analysis as needed to assist with internal and external audits.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with operations and other departments to identify financial challenges, recommend solutions, and implement improvements. Serve as a business partner to ensure alignment on financial goals and strategies and support key business and administrative functions required for department performance.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications (Must-Have):
- Bachelor's degree in business administration (Accounting or Finance coursework is required).
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis and/or accounting.
Strong background in:
- financial reporting, forecasting, and cost accounting.
- translating complex financial data into actionable insights and communicating effectively with different types of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); SAP knowledge preferred.
- Ability to effectively contribute within multidisciplinary teams by leveraging diverse educational and professional perspectives.
- Proven time-management skills and ability to deliver tasks and documents on time with the right stakeholder feedback and revisions
