The Sales Representative -- Solar and Energy Solutions is responsible for promoting and selling solar and renewable energy products by identifying potential customers, preparing tailored proposals, and guiding them through the purchasing process. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to educate clients on the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy and storage solutions.
Duties
- Prospect, identify, and contact potential clients to discuss their solar and energy solution needs.
- Collect and review project data like utility bills, and other relevant information to support the preparation of customized proposals.
- Prepare and present professional sales proposals and quotations.
- Close sales and maintain ongoing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and solar industry trends.
- Participate actively in training sessions, workshops, and team meetings to continuously improve skills and performance.
- Represent the company at promotional events, trade shows, and information booths.
- Assess customer needs and recommend the most effective solar and renewable energy solutions.
- Provide clear, consultative education on the benefits of solar energy, energy storage, and efficiency solutions.
- Generate new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and prospecting strategies.
- Guide customers through the complete sales process to ensure excellent experience.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and company-wide sales targets.
- Handle all client and company information with the strictest confidentiality, ensuring compliance with data privacy standards and protecting sensitive information throughout the sales process.

Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business, Marketing, Technical field or a related field (preferred but not required) and/or Certificate in Renewable Energy.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or related industries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively present energy solutions to diverse audiences.
- Strong customer focus, with proven ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships.
- Knowledge in outreach, networking, and prospecting to generate new business opportunities.
- Negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of creating win-win outcomes for clients and the company.
- Quick learner, adaptable to new energy products, services, and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
